Jerry M. Sanders

Jerry M Sanders, 69, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at his son’s residence in Phenix City, Alabama.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 14, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens Phenix City, Alabama with Reverend Michael Reeves officiating. The internment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service.

Jerry was born on February 13, 1952, in Columbus, GA, the son of Maynard Sanders and Betty Mosley Sanders. He was a life-long resident of Phenix City. Jerry was the former owner of Sander’s Auto Sales and worked for many years as a Construction Contractor. He served his country and Alabama proudly in the Alabama National Guard for 5 years. Jerry will always be remembered as an honest businessman and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Margie Sanders, and his parents. He is survived by son, Rodney (Stacie) Sanders; sister, Jan Sanders; granddaughter, Morgan (Max) Raniero; great-granddaughter, Riley Raniero; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
