Jerry Northington

Mr. Jerry Northington, 84, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am EST on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Rodney Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Northington was born August 8, 1940 in Hamilton, AL, son of the late Jesse Northington and Daisy Jackson Lawrence. He retired from local radio station, Rock 103, where he was the Sales Manager, with over 23 years of service. Mr. Northington enjoyed bass fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also coached in the Dixie League Baseball program for several years. Most recently, Mr. Northington attended Auburn Heights.

Mr. Northington is survived by two sons, Chuck Northington of Midland, GA and Keith Northington of Phenix City, AL; a brother, Howard Lawrence of Fruitland Park, FL; six grandchildren, Lauren Snellgrove (Brian), Kaleb Northington, Jessica Northington, Paige Northington, Kali Northington (Andrew) and Janie Northington; great-grandchildren, B. J. (Kae’leigh), Abby, Keylie, Wyatt, Nash, Kian and Tilli; as well as extended family and friends.
