Jerry O. Williams

Jerry O. Williams, 80, of Phenix City, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

 A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Andy Rutherford officiating. Internment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born September 3, 1938 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Edward L. Williams and Estelle Carter Williams.  He retired from the Civil Service after many years of service.  Mr. Williams was a member of Landmark Nazarene Church.  His biggest hobby was woodworking. 

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife, Judy Williams of Phenix City, AL; two sons, Jerry O. Williams, Jr. and wife Thess of Dothan, AL and Kevin Williams and wife Amanda of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Zack Williams, Joey Williams, Jeremy Williams, John Matthew Gonzales, Leonardo Gonzales, Carlo Gonzales and T. J. Williams; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
