Jerry Ray Davis

Jerry Ray Davis, 70, Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, March 03, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA,  on Friday, March 09, 2018 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST.  The family will receive friends Friday, March 09, 2018 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. EST.  

Jerry Ray Davis  was born October 7, 1947 in Columbus, GA to the parents of Larue “Pete” Davis and Mary Jo McLean Davis.  Jerry was in the plumbing business for 53 years and the owner of AAA Plumbing Company, thanks to special friends Tommy Savage and Terry Vaughn. Jerry was a loving husband, father and friend who will forever be missed.

Other than his parents, Jerry is predeceased by his daughter, Shannon Darlene Davis and brother Billy “Bill” Davis.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Barbara Farr Davis; two sons, Jason Ray Davis of Seale, AL and Casey Ray Davis of Columbus, GA; sister Patricia Weathers of Dothan, AL; sister-in-law Jan Davis of Ft. Mitchell, AL; niece Shelia Ann Weathers of Dothan, AL; nephew Charles “Chuck” Weather (JoAnn) of Dothan , AL and numerous great nieces great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
