Jimmie Wayne Riles

Jimmie Wayne Riles, 67, of Crawford, AL, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016, St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm EST, on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Vance Memorial Chapel. Interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery and the family will receive friends one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Riles was born on December 10, 1948, in Columbus, GA, the son of the late William Floyd Riles, Sr. and Emelyn Baskin Riles. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from Ft. Benning as a Commercial heating and air mechanic and loved his collection of antique tractors. Mr. Riles was a great craftsman and built his home that he shared with his wife Lisa.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Jean Hasson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lisa Riles; 3 brothers, WF Riles, wife Mary Jo, Jerry Riles, wife Janice and Tony Riles, wife Vicky; 2 sisters, Sandra Blizzard, husband Neal and Tammy Dudley, husband Chuck; cousin and best friend, Edward Hill; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
