Joe Kenneth "Kenny" Caldwell

Joe Kenneth “Kenny” Caldwell, 76, of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

A private burial will take place at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. 

Mr. Caldwell was born November 13, 1948, in Gordo, AL, son of the late Robert Allen Caldwell and Mary M. Elemore Caldwell Larsen. He was a general sales manager in television for the CBS and NBC Broadcasting Stations. He served our country honorably and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, camping, nature, and admiring the outdoors. He loved watching sports and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a Baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert Caldwell and Allen Caldwell, and a sister, Mary Ann Holder.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Linda Harden Caldwell; son, Kenneth “Allen” Caldwell; sisters-in-law, Shirley Jenkins and Verlin Beavers (Bobby); brother-in-law, Milton Harden (Darlene); numerous other loving extended family members, and many caring friends.
