John Michael Riddle

John Michael Riddle, 36, of Columbus, GA died at his home on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. David Dollar officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour on Sunday at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

John was born February 17, 1988, in Marietta, GA son of Scott and Pam Smith Riddle. He worked at CVS as a Pharmacy Tech for several years in order to support his family. 

We will remember him as a hard worker, loving son, brother and grandson. We do not understand the why’s, but we are holding on to our faith during this storm. Thank you, John, for being a part of our lives even if not long enough for us. 

John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claudy and Nancy Smith; paternal grandfather, Buddy Riddle and step-grandfather, James Reese.

Survivors include his parents, Scott and Pam Riddle, Phenix City, AL; his wife, Kimberly Riddle, Columbus, GA; four children, Devin, Lily, Jackson and Jonathan; two sisters, Courtney Tanner (Jason) and Amanda Stephens (Matt); paternal grandmother, Connie Reese (Leh) and paternal step-grandmother, Jutta Riddle; a nephew and niece, Jeremiah Stephens and Emaleigh Tanner; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
