John Wesley Moore

John Wesley Moore, 67, of Seale, AL passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018, at his home.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Seale United Methodist Church in Seale, AL, with Rev. Brady Baird officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Mr. Moore was born on November 17, 1951 in Phenix City, AL son of the late George Moore and Annie Laurie Jennings Moore.  He graduated from Auburn University with an Accounting degree and worked most of his career as an Auditor for the Department of Health and Human Services.  Mr. Moore also enjoyed working on his farm and was a former member of the Alabama Cattleman’s Association.  He was a member of the Auburn Alumni Association and an avid football fan.  Mr. Moore was also a member of Seale United Methodist Church

He is survived by his spouse, Edith Storey Moore of Seale, AL and a son, Jordan Moore of Atlanta, GA.
