Joice Langlois Sheffer

Joice Langlois Sheffer, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on July 21, 2023, at her residence, while surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date by her family.
Ms. Sheffer was born in Adams, Massachusetts. Seeking a better career opportunity, she moved to New York. While working in New York, she met the love of her life David Sheffer. Ms. Sheffer then left her employment and began to travel and support her husband in his career. This brought her to Phenix City, Alabama where she had lived for twenty-five years. Joice was known as a caring and loving person, always finding the best in others. She enjoyed working with children and was employed for many years as a day care worker. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crocheting which she made articles to give to others. Joice also had a love for animals especially her senior dog Meeko. Above all, Joice loved her family and enjoyed all the special moments she was able to share with them.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Sheffer was preceded in death be her husband of thirty-six years David Sheffer.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons James Sheffer (Chyann) of Phenix City, AL, Patrick Sheffer (Cloe) and David Shefffer; sister Janet Langois (Sue) of Adams, MA; brother John Langlois and two grandchildren Camron Sheffer (Hannah) and David Sheffer, III.
