Jonathan Slade Bush

Jonathan Slade Bush, 47, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Golden Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Wren Aaron officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday evening at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.     

Slade was born in Columbus, GA on November 3, 1970 son of Bobby Bush and Marilyn Zito Bush.  He worked in sales for Flint Equipment Company in Leesburg, GA.  Slade was a member of Church of the Highlands in Auburn, AL.   He enjoyed  Auburn Football, Jeep riding and horseback riding.  Above all else, Slade loved his girls and loved watching them barrel race.   

Other than his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Shelby Slade Bush and Allie Michelle Bush, both of Phenix City, AL; two brothers, Ryan Bush and wife Nicole of Phenix City, AL and Lance Bush and wife Emily of Beckley, West VA; several extended family members and many caring friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the John B. Amos Cancer Treatment Center, 1831 5th Ave., Columbus, GA 31904.
