Jose Ricardo Siqueira, 65, of Smiths Station, AL passed away early Saturday morning, August 4th, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
A celebration of life graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 pm EST on Friday, August 10th, 2018 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation and words of remembrance will take place from 1:00 to 2:00pm EST on Friday, August 10th, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. There will be a procession immediately following the visitation at 2:00pm EST to Fort Mitchell National Cemetery; everyone is encouraged to leave together.
Jose was born March 20th, 1953 in Brazil to Luis Marcelo Diogo de Siqueira and the late Lucia Ehrich Hayney. He served our country proudly and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a Christian by faith.
He is survived by his sister, Ghislaine Siqueira of Brazil; brother, Scott Hayney and wife Kellie of Denton, TX; Nieces, Taylor and Reagan; Nephews, Tucker and Ryan. His caregiver, Kathy Brown, his Veteran Brothers and other caregivers at his VA home in Smiths Station, AL.
The family is especially grateful for the care and love Kathy has given to Jose, along with many others, you are his true family and for this we are blessed.
