Joshua Adam Henderson

Joshua Adam Henderson, 34, resident of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Saturday, February 25, 2023 beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Pat Gilbert officiating. The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Joshua, son of Kenneth Ray Henderson and Sally Henderson, was born June 7, 1988 in Columbus. He worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years and enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing and watching baseball games. Joshua also enjoyed playing videos games and spending time with his nieces and nephew.

The family remembers Joshua as a comic with a heart of gold; very compassionate towards others; and a protector of his family.

Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William L. Roth and Leurie Roth Cromer; paternal grandparents, Harry Henderson and Alice Henderson; uncles, Harry Henderson, Jr., David Whittington, and Dean Melcher; and aunt, Susan Whittington.

He is survived by his mother, Sally Henderson of Phenix City; father, Kenneth Ray Henderson of Columbus; sister, Krystle Henderson of Columbus; brother, Kyle Henderson and his wife Katrina of Toney, Alabama; nieces, Makinley Owens, Taylor Henderson, and Riley Henderson; nephew, Nolan Whatley; and many other relatives and friends.
