Joseph “Joey” E. Endres, 55, of Salem, AL passed away at Columbus Hospice House on Sunday, December 25, 2022 surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM (EST) on Friday, December 30, 2022 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, (Phenix City, AL) with Justin Catt officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 12:00PM until the funeral hour at Vance Brooks Funeral Home.
Joey was born October 05, 1967 in Ft. Benning, GA, the son of Betty Suits Coulter and the late Gerhard “Gary” Endres. He loved to fish and could always be found riding down a dirt road singing his heart out to an old country song. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, never met a stranger and never failed to put a smile on the face of every person in his presence. He loved Auburn Football, any chance for a road trip, and cherished every moment he spent with his family and friends. We will always remember him every time we cast a lure, ride down a dirt road or watch an Auburn game.
Joey was preceded in death by his father, Gary Endres; sister, Debra Spurlin; and best friend, Sammy Strickland.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Tori Ellis Endres, Salem, AL; three children, Kristi Burnette (Matt), Megan Endres (Fiancé, Jacob Brannon) and Kyle Endres; three sisters, Karren Endres-French (Carmen), Brandy Moore (Mitchel) and Lisa Waldrop (Vern); three grandchildren, D.J. and Anna Bonniot and Hayes Brannon; and numerous dearly loved nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lee County Humane Society, leecountyhumane.org.
