Joshua Wayne “Josh” Floyd

Joshua Wayne Floyd, 42, of Midland, GA died at his residence on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00PM (EST) on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the Vance Brooks Funeral Home Chapel, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Derrick Millirons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the serve at the funeral home.
Josh was born December 29, 1978 in Columbus, GA son of Sid Floyd and Penny Cazire Newman. He was a handyman by trade, with a specialty in building any type of fencing. Josh enjoyed creating Tattoos, fishing and most of all riding his motorcycle. He was a Christian by faith and will be remembered as a humble man who would do anything for any one in need. Josh was that kind of friend.
Survivors include his parents, Sid Floyd (Annie R.) Midland, GA and Penny Cazire Newnan (Jerry) Seale, AL; two daughters, Alexandria Chrastil Floyd, Phenix City, AL and Olivia Wallis, South Carolina; a brother, Jerry Newnan, Jr., Phenix City, AL; two stepbrothers, Stanley Jeff Sanders, Fortson, GA and William Terrell Sanders, Columbus, GA; one stepsister, Cynthia Lynch, TX; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
