Juanita Canarios Castaneda, 64, of Ft. Mitchell, AL died on Monday, January 02, 2023 at Jack Hughston Hospital, Phenix City, AL.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 PM (EST) at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Castaneda was born August 09, 1958 in Agat, Guam daughter of the late Ramon Canarios and Rosa Cruz Canarios. She was an active member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ft. Mitchell, AL where she served in various ministries. Mrs. Castaneda loved to cook delicious meals and make beautiful crafts for her family and friends.
“We hold our Mom close within our hearts, and there she shall remain, to walk with us throughout our lives, until we meet again. So rest in peace our beloved Mom. Thank you for all you’ve done for us. We pray God has given you the crown you’ve truly won. We love and miss you dearly Mom.”
Mrs. Castaneda will be greeted at the gates of Heaven by her parents, Ramon and Rosa Canarios; an infant son and daughter; and a sister, Rosila Salas.
Her love and memories will live on in the hearts of her four daughters, Petrina Janine Castaneda, Petrisha Joleen Castaneda (LaDale Williams, Sr.), Petashia Jenise Castaneda (Antonio Lampkin) and Derayln Janae Castaneda; significant other, Juan J. Garrid; a “sister”, Arlinda Leong (Alberto) and other siblings; grandchildren, Jordan-Michael Thomas and Islah Rose Oden; “kids of her own”, Erinalyn Charfauros and son, Daishone Jakaiye Jordan, Jr. and Rivalyn Charfauros and daughter, Kai’lyn Taeann Todd; and several other family members.
