Mrs. Judith Ann Bredesen, 82, of Smiths Station, AL passed away in the comfort of her home in Smiths Station on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
Mrs. Bredesen was born March 26, 1941, in Illinois, daughter of the late Wilbert Lorenz and Genevieve Predmore Lorenz. She had worked various jobs in her lifetime and cherished the simple things of life. She loved playing BINGO, crossword puzzles, tasking odd jobs around her home, and spending time with family. She was Baptist by faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bredesen; and two sisters, Mary Hodges, and Bertha Lorenz.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, George Govensky, Jeff Govensky and wife Donna, Paul Govensky, Victoria Mullins, Jeanette Johnson, and Belinda Kyrouac; numerous grandchildren; several nieces; other loving family members and caring friends.
A private Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in the future where she will be laid to rest with her late husband, Navy Veteran James William Bredesen in the wall at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
