Judith Вђњjudyвђќ Carter Worrell

Judith “Judy” Carter Worrell, 76, of Seale, AL, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning while under the care of Arbor Springs in Opelika, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm EST/ 11:00 am CST, on Friday, September 16, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Hurtsboro with Reverend Richie Ashburn officiating.  A private interment will be at Hurtsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00pm EST / 5:00 until 7:00pm CST at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.

Judy was born on September 28, 1939, in Columbus, GA. She was a beloved member of the Hurtsboro community where she worked as the store manager for Hurtsboro Food Line and a member of Silver Run Baptist Church.

Rejoicing in heaven with her are her parents, Marvin A. Carter and Grace L. Storey Carter.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joe David Worrell; two daughters, Sheryl W. Lancaster of Seale, AL and Donna W. Newman, husband Roger of Phenix City, AL; sister, Mary “Sissy” L. Mulford; brother, Joel Richard Carter, wife Joanne of LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, Art Lancaster, Leah Lancaster, Heather Gilbert, husband Dave and Allen Newman, wife Heather; a precious great granddaughter, Clarabelle Gilbert; extended family members and many caring friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the residents needs at Arbor Springs, 1910 Pepperell Parkway, Opelika, AL 36801.
