Ms. Dean was born March 13, 1952, in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Telis Wilson Gray and Mary Lou Holder Gray. She was a homemaker, working hard and enjoying the simple things of life.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Bellew.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Lynn Pope; two sons, Phillip Dean, and Randy Jones; three sisters, Lillie Brown, Cathy Sue Johnston, and Shirley Simpson; one brother, Jerry “Buddy” Gray; two grandsons, Colton Watts, and Dalton Watts; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and numerous other family members.
Her family plans to hold a simple private memorial service to honor the life and memory of Ms. Judy Dean.
