Mrs. Julia B. Rinehart, 91, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon EST on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Ladonia Baptist Church in Phenix City with Rev. Greg Hyche officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:00 pm EST, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
Mrs. Rinehart was born May 11, 1929 in Racine, MO, daughter of the late John Avery Petty and Mary Pearl Capps Petty. She was a military wife and traveled to many duty locations around the world. Mrs. Rinehart enjoyed gardening and teaching the gospel of Jesus, wherever she lived. She was a member of Ladonia Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Rinehart is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Don Rinehart of Phenix City, AL; a daughter, Terry Xuereb and husband Ray of Phenix City, AL; two sons, Randy Parsley and wife Cathy of Denver, CO and Roy Rinehart and wife Sharon of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Ruby DuBois of Neosho, MO and Margie Lynn and husband Jack of Goodman, MO; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; as well as, several extended family, church family and friends.
