Karen Leigh Valitzski

Karen Leigh Valitzski, 61, of Cataula, Ga passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Ellerslie Train Depot, 4780 Harris Road, Ellerslie, GA from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. EST.  Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Valitzski was born April 14, 1955 in Albuquerque, NM to the late Daniel Coxwell and Sara Rawls Coxwell.  She was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia.  She was an artist who specialized in stippling paintings.  She was a loving wife, moma, nana, daughter, aunt and sister who was deeply loved and will be forever missed. 

Survivors include her loving spouse of twenty-four years, John F. Valitzski; one daughter, Nickole Miller  and husband, Wayne of Cataula, Ga; one brother, Kenneth Coxwell and wife, Patricia of Douglasville, GA; three grandchildren:  Austin, Justin and Dustin Miller of Cataula, GA; neice, Caitlin Morrison and husband, Sean of Temple, Ga; and nephew, Daniel Coxwell of Douglasville, GA.
