Kathleen M. Harrelson

Kathleen Miller Harrelson, 84, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Canterbury Healthcare in Phenix City, AL.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm CST / 2:00 pm EST Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenwood, AL.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home in Phenix City. Mrs. Harrelson was born December 22, 1931 in Coffee County, AL to the late George Arthur Miller and Noler Forehand Miller.  She was retired from Swift Textile Mills in Columbus, GA, attended Oakview Church of God and was a member of Opelika Church of God.  Her passion was going to church, cooking, baking, and family and friends.  She was a lady of great character whom everyone loved.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Harrelson, four brothers, Dewey Miller, George Miller, Buddy Miller, and Joseph Miller, and two sisters, Lorene Price, and Lucille Jernigan.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Harrelson, and a son, William D. Harrelson, several grandchildren, Josh W. Harrelson, and Rickey D. Harrelson (Joy), great grandchildren, Hali Harrelson, Patrick Harrelson, Kim Harrelson with numerous other loving family members, and many caring friends.  Online condolences may be share at www.vancememorialchapel.net
