Mrs. Kathryn Hobbs Hall

November 5, 1931 — July 4, 2022

Mrs. Kathryn Hobbs Hall, 90, recent long-term resident of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at Porter Hospice Residences in Centennial, CO.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, July 11, 2022 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Grant Parker officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hall was born November 5, 1931 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Jessie Andrew Jackson “Jack” Hobbs and Clara Bell Bass Hobbs.  She was a bookkeeper for most of her career, working for Vance Memorial Chapel, the United Way and finally with Kittrell Construction.  Mrs. Hall’s biggest hobby was tracing genealogy of her family and for many others.  Many years ago, she was a member of the Women of the Moose in Phenix City, AL, and volunteered as a Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls in Columbus, GA.  Mrs. Hall was a long-time, faithful member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Albert Deadwyler; her second husband, Robert Earl Hall, Sr.; and also a brother, Frederick “Fred” Jackson Hobbs.

She is survived by two sons, Michael “Mike” Alan Deadwyler and wife Gail of Jacksonville, FL and Terrell “Terry” Lee Deadwyler and wife Kas of Littleton, CO; two grandchildren, Robert “Rob” Stanley Deadwyler of Highlands Ranch, CO and Kyle Ryan Deadwyler and wife Lexi of Westminster, CO; one great-grandchild, Jameson “Jamie” Deadwyler; several other extended family and other friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Porter Hospice Residence, 5020 E Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO 80122 or Old Dogs New Digs, a charity for providing senior animals a loving home, at www.olddogsnewdigs.com. This organization helped find the perfect forever home for her beloved Pomeranian, Chico.
