Kathy D. Price

Mrs. Kathy D. Price, 70, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at her residence, while surrounded by her loving family.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM EST on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL, with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Price was born in Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late Leroy A. Jorgenson and Azzia Shehane Jorgenson. She worked as the Office Administrator at Accurate Moving and Storage prior to retiring. Kathy was known by her family as being an outspoken person, never using a filter to share her opinion. She enjoyed making others laugh. She was also known as an animal lover especially cats. Above all, she cherished her family especially sharing time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Price was known by all the students as MeMaw always volunteering to be the “Room Mother” every year.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by one brother Leroy Jorgenson II.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 52 years, Jeremiah Price; daughters, Sabrina Hester of Phenix City, AL, Katrina Kerns of Phenix City, AL and Serena Phillips and husband William Jay of Smiths Station, AL; nine grandchildren, Jerica Mannthey, Meagan Hester, Elyssa Malone, Samantha Brown, Christopher Fleming, Christiana Fleming, Kimberly Wilson, Dakota Jewell and Tyler Rios and thirteen great grandchildren.
