Kaytina Joe “Tina” Hudson

Kaytina Joe “Tina” Hudson, 59, of Phenix City, AL passed away early Friday morning on July 21, 2023, while in the comfort of her home.
Tina was born August 21, 1963, in Montgomery, AL and was the daughter of the late Joe D. Smith, and Joy Evelyn Jones Smith. She was employed as an administrator supervisor with High Pines Outfitters, and the Sandman Sand and Gravel in Columbus, GA with many years of loyal service. She was passionate about her responsibilities and her relationship with her job. She loved her work family with an attitude of sincere service. She enjoyed ocean cruises, visiting the beach, camping, boating, fishing, spending time at Lake Martin, the outdoors and nature, and was always excited each football season cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. But her greatest love was spending time with her husband, her family, and all her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a Baptist by faith and attended Cascade Hills Church in Columbus, GA.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Truman Hudson; three sons, DJ Watkins, Josh Peregoy, and Jonah Peregoy; three step-sons, Chris Hudson and wife Diana, Rodney Hudson and wife Nichole, and Kevin Hudson and wife Tara; one sister, Debbie Johnson; seven grandchildren, twins, Cody Hudson and Dalton Hudson, Kaleigh Simmons and husband Taylor, Erica Wilson and husband Jake, Madison Hudson, Kyle Hudson, and Dylan Hudson and six precious great grandchildren, Cooper, Rawlings, Addie Rayne, Riggins, Emi Jade, and Ellie Ruth; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Ken Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home in Phenix City. A private interment will be held by her loving family.
