Kelles Aron Brown

Kelles Aron Brown, 84, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice, 8301 Franciscan Woods in Columbus.  Funeral services will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Monday, December 28, 2015 beginning at 12:00 PM EST with Pastor Bud Rupel officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Kelles was born September 29, 1931 in Moultrie, GA, to the parents of the late Hardy Brown and Ira M. Wiley Brown.  Kelles was a member of Evangel Temple. He was a Civil Service retiree and he also served in the United States Air Force.

Other than his parents, Kelles is predeceased by his wife, Elisabeth Brown.

Survivors include his companion, Gloria Taylor; one daughter, Margaret Dickson (William) of Alpharetta GA; two sons:  Delbert Lee Kirby of Phenix City, AL and John Kirby (Linda) of Columbus, GA; one sister, Flora Hill of Sumatra, FL; and one brother, Jack M. Brown (Margie) of Abilene, TX; four grandchildren:  Wendy Danneman, Curtis Simpkins, J.D. Kirby and Elizabeth Kirby Williams; six great, great grandchildren:  Alexandra Danneman, Heather Williams, Nevaeh Williams, Mirah Williams, Malley Simpkins, and Ry Lynn Simpkins; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as great, great nieces and great, great nephews.
