Kenneth Boggan

Kenneth L. Boggan, 64, of Phenix City, AL died at Piedmont, Midtown, Columbus, GA on Sunday, November 12, 2023 with his family by his side.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Jeffrey Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Boggan was born November 6, 1959 in Columbus, GA son of the late James Boggan and Helen Morgan Boggan.  He had retired from West Rock as a Maintenance Man after many years of committed service. Kenneth loved to ride his Harley and was a member of the Asphalt Cowboys Riding Club. His handle in the club was “Red”. He also enjoyed working on and selling sports cars and motorcycles. He was renowned for saying, “It’s only money”. Kenneth had a big heart and was loved by everyone who knew him or recently met him. He left us far sooner than we wanted, but we will always remember all of the good times.

Mr. Boggan was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Boggan and his siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Linda Bradley Boggan; three children, Rhonda Shedd (Stuart), Bobby Fitzgerald, (Laura), and Ronnie Boggan; a “brother” Jeffrey Mitchell; nine grandchildren, Christian, Angelyna, Cayden, Nathan, Bentley, Kindel, Karlee, Luca and Catherine (Johnathan); three precious great-grandchildren, Izzy, Nicholas and Cairo; several nieces, nephews and friends.
