Kenneth Eugene Allen

Kenneth Eugene Allen, 79, of Smiths Station, AL, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 EST, Saturday, September 30 at Midway Baptist Church.

Mr. Allen was born on January 29, 1938, in Blue Ridge, GA, the son of the late Robert Allen and Ruth Key Allen. He served in the United States Air Force. He married Helen Martin and had 2 children. He worked as supervisor over maintenance for over 27 years at Willow Creek Apartments and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.  

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Allen, Jr. and a brother, Larry Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Sarah “Fran” Allen; daughter, Laura Faulkner; 2 sons, Ronnie Blanton, wife Judy of Salem, AL and Ryan Blanton, wife Debbie of Phenix City, AL; sister, Pat Golden; brothers, Ronnie Allen, wife Diane, Robert Allen, Jr., wife Betty and Bobby Allen; grandchildren, Kimberly Faulkner Jones, husband Jeff, Kasey Faulkner, Holley Marie Faulkner Goff, husband Matthew, Chelsey Blanton and Joseph Blanton; great grandchildren, Tyler Allen Jones and Johnathan Goff; extended family members and many caring friends.
