Kenneth Ray Cain

Kenneth Ray Cain, 72, of Columbus, GA, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 beginning at 10:00 A.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. Pastor Michael Cain will be officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. EST at the funeral home. Kenneth Ray Cain was born December 28, 1941 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Webster Daniel Cain and Nellie Weststone Cain. He was catholic by faith. Kenneth was an exceptional father and grandfather he cherished every moment he had with family and loves ones. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, and playing black jack. Kenneth was a member of Elks Lodge 111. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his devoted wife of over 41 years Laura Mary Cain; and son James Daniel Cain. Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Mary Julius (Bruce) of Midland, GA; daughter in law, Shelia Thompson of Hayward, CA; son, Chris Cain (Denise Camarena) of Dayton, NV; sisters, Kathy Hines (Ray) of Harris County, GA, Edna Hollman of Monticello, GA, Janice Smith (Bob) of IL, Judy Love of Columbus, GA; brother, Mike Cain (Sandy) of Harris County, GA; Grandchildren, Christopher Cain of Newark, CA, Raynee Davila of Hayward, CA, and Anthony Julius of Midland, GA; Kenneth also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and may caring friends.
