Mrs. Kerry E. Roberts

Kerry Ervin Roberts, 79, of DeFuniak Springs, FL died at her home on Wednesday, August 03, 2022 with her family by her side.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 PM (EST) on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM till the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts was born November 26, 1942 in St. Paul, MN daughter of the late Luman D. Ervin and Dorothy L. Slaughter Ervin. She had a heart to serve others and served as a Police Officer for the City of Talladega for several years.  This was her favorite and most loved job something she never forgot. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed watching the Food Network, going to yard sales, decorating her home and  receiving and reading her country sampler magazines. While she is now in Heaven, we will always miss her but cherish her beautiful memories in our hearts.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, Luman and Dorothy Ervin and husband her, Melvin Roy Roberts.

Survivors include her three children, Mark Chappell, Sherri Chappell and Matt Chappell; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several other family members and friends.
