Mr. Adams was born November 19, 1963 in Columbus, GA son of Frank Adams (Carol) and the late Mildred “Mickey” Waldrop Timbes, who affectionately called him, her “Sun Shine Boy”. He was an engineer by trade working at Cherokee Fabrications for many years and before that at Lummus. Kevin enjoyed using his engineering skills to create homes, mountain bike trails, and various other projects. One of his key accomplishments was being the designer of the clock tower at Columbus State University. A man who was never idle, he enjoyed numerous outdoor activities to include mountain biking, fishing both fresh water and salt water, hunting, water skiing and watching Alabama Football, Roll Tide! Kevin was also a meticulous mechanic and antique car enthusiast. He enjoyed worshiping at his home church, Philadelphia Baptist in Smiths Station, AL. He will be remembered as a man of faith, strong character, and being a gifted mechanical engineer. We will miss him, but his design projects and his impression on our lives will live on forever.
