Kimi Roberts

Kimi Roberts, 88, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital. She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Fort Benning Main Post Cemetery.

Kimi was born on September 20, 1936 in Okinawa, Japan. As a young woman, she married George Albert Roberts and became a military wife. They had a beautiful daughter and, after retiring from the Army, settled in Columbus, Georgia. It was there that Kimi owned and managed Penny Bait and Tackle.

Kimi is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years George Albert Roberts and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Cornelia “Connie” Roberts, great-granddaughter Alina McDonald, partner Raymond Tassey, and several sisters and brothers.
