Koa James Jeter, 3 months old, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Children’s Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama. Graveside services are scheduled at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, Alabama on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, 11 a.m. with Reverend Lestley Drake officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Koa was loved by everyone and was “the perfect angel.” He was preceded in death by his Maternal Great-Grandparents, Aubrey Harold Jeter and Myrtlene Nelson Jeter.
He is survived by his mother, Kayla Cheyanne Jeter of Phenix City, Alabama; father, William Joseph Garnett of Columbus, Georgia; two brothers, Kason Jeter and Wyatt Garnett; two sisters, Kinsley Jeter and Lyla Garnett; maternal grandparents, Michael Jeter and Shannon Owens; paternal grandmother, Constance Garnett; maternal great-grandmother, Geraldine Kite; aunt, Kristi Riales; uncles, Kyle Owens and Nick Owens; great aunts, Peggy Barr, Jane Russell, Judy Raley, and Jamie Lambert; many other relatives and friends.
