Korey Scott Smith

Korey Scott Smith, 36, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Lee County, AL.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 pm EST on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Charlie Pritchett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Korey was born October 07, 1986 in Phenix City, AL son of Pamela Ann Cook Smith and the late John Robert Smith. He had worked as a Heating and A/C tech with Booth Plumbing. Korey loved to explore and had a vast rock collection that he added to after his adventures. He enjoyed being with family and friends anytime and anyplace, especially when outdoors.  Korey was at his happiest when surrounded by family, listing to good music, admiring nature and all kinds of animals. He had a big heart helping with special needs children. He has been taken from us far sooner than anyone expected, but he has left so many fond memories for us to cherish in our hearts.

Korey was preceded in death by his dad, John Smith; his grandparents, Joe and Yvonne Cook; Mary Helen Wright and an uncle, Rodney Cook.

Survivors include his mother, Pamela Ann Cook Smith (Junior Williams); a daughter, Xandra Lilith Smith and a son, Damien Isaiah Smith; brother, Joseph Wayne Smith; maternal grandmother, Aletha Cook; nephew, Asher O. Smith; mother of his children, Stephanie Ciamaricone; Bop Bop little loves, Makenzie and Jason Ciamaricone; his little buddy, Thomas Owens; numerous other family and friends.
