Larry Gerald Willis, Sr.

Larry Gerald Willis, Sr., 74, of Phenix City, AL died at his residence on Wednesday July 01, 2020 with his family by his side.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 03, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Willis was born November 02, 1945 in Elba, AL son of the late Joe D. Willis and Ethelleen McCollough Willis. He was a man of many talents with a career in merchandising and construction. Mr. Willis was always joking, singing (slightly off key), sharing stories and making those around him smile.  He was a man of deep faith and commitment to his family. We will always remember the good times and cherish them closely in our hearts.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hickman Willis, Phenix City, AL; three children, Larry “Sonny” G. Willis, Jr., Valley, AL, Casey Willis Head (Steven) Smiths Station, AL and Amanda Willis, Carlton, GA; two siblings, Betty Jo Davis and  William E. Willis; five grandchildren, Logan Willis, Connor Willis, Cade Love, August Bracewell and Andrew Head; extended family and close friends also survive.
