Larry James Gregory

Larry James Gregory, 70, of Columbus, GA passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at his residence.  A private memorial service was held.

Larry was born on November 10, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Claude and Bessie Gregory.  He proudly served his country for many years in the US Navy.  Afterwards, he worked at the Charleston Shipyard as a Navy Shipyard Pipe Fitter.  In his spare time, Larry enjoyed playing golf.

Other than his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brothers:  Howard Gregory, Cecil Gregory, and Lonnie Gregory.

Survivors include his life partner of 23 years, Judy Lynn Osborn; brother, Paul Gregory of Westchester, OH; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; Jennifer M. Cabral of Rhode Island, who he loved like a daughter; Jonathan M. Osborne of Kingsport, TN, who he loved like a son; his fur babies:  dogs, Sassy and Kayla; and cats, Cody, Panda, Gracie, Tabitha, Daisy, and Daffodil.
