Lee Ann Williams Taylor, 67, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Emory Evans and Sister Frances Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in Crawford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (EST) at the funeral home.
Mrs. Taylor was born August 26, 1954 in Russell County, AL daughter of the late Mattie Williams Ray. She had retired from Leshner Mills after many years of committed service. Ms. Lee Ann was also an active member of Faith Temple Assembly of God where she enjoyed worshiping with family and friends. She was a leader in the Sunday School, Missionetts and the Children’s ministry. Ms. Lee Ann enjoyed crafts and working in the yard; however, her happy place was the beach where she could just unwind and enjoy. She loved Jesus with all her heart and the color blue. We will remember all the good times and her enduring words, “Blessed and Thankful”.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her mom, Mattie Ray and two sisters, Darlene Bolt and Betty Jo Gibson.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jimmie M. Taylor; two daughters, Melinda Guisinger (Chris) and Lori Stinson (Andy) all of Phenix City, AL; five brothers, Justin “Jabo” Ray, Crawford, AL, Joe Ray (April), Smiths Station, AL, James Ray, Jeff Ray and Jerry “J.D.” Ray all of Crawford, AL; four grandchildren, Brendan Guisinger, Andrea Stinson, Taylor Stinson and Justin Guisinger; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
