Lee Roy "Sandy" Sanders

Lee Roy “Sandy” Sanders, Jr., 63 of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Midtown Medical Center, in Columbus, GA.

Mr. Sanders was born on February 18, 1952, in Columbus, GA, the son of Harriete Morton Wright and the late Lee Roy Sanders, Sr. Other than his father; he is preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Earl Sanders.

He is survived by his mother Harriete Wright and husband Bobby; sisters, Danni Phillips and husband Paul and Tracey Pottinger Ubiles; aunts, Mary Ann Howard and Helen Blair; uncle, Sonny Morton; nephew, Christopher Dakota Spence and niece, Amber Nichole Spence; Molly Lewis and many other cousins and extended family members and many caring friends.

The family is planning a private burial at Riverdale Cemetery.
