Leslie Joe "Joey" Frazier, Sr.

Leslie Joe “Joey” Frazier, Sr., 67, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 ,surrounded by his family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM (EST) at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Kenneth Wilcox officiating. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery on Monday, February 24, 2025.

Mr. Frazier was born June 05, 1957, in Topeka, KS son of Frankie Louise Guthrie Frazier and the late Leslie Lewis Frazier, II. He worked as a body repair man for G & P Heavy Equipment for many years. Joe loved to watch NASCAR and Alabama Football with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing softball, bowling and skating. A little-known fact was he was also an accomplished painter and sketch artist. He often created special pieces for family and friends. 

We will remember him as a hard worker who treated his family well and was respected by his peers. He will be missed but fondly remembered.

Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his dad, Leslie Lewis Frazier, II and two siblings, Leslie Lewis Frazier, III and Eva Frazier Jinwright. 

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Myra Faye Freeman Frazier, Phenix City, AL; three children, Danielle Agustin (Justin), NY, Leslie Joe Frazier, Jr., and Samuel “Sam” Frazier (Ashlyn Stafford), all of Phenix City, AL; five sisters, Jenny Long (Mike), Marie Spitzmiller, Cathy Lister (Frank), Janice Jones (Doug), and Peggy Sellers; four brothers, Donny Frazier (Stacey), Timmy Frazier, Kenny Frazier and Buddy Frazier (Kim); seven grandchildren, Sophia, Kasie Jo, Ember, Liliana, Iris, Theodore and Benjamin; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
