Lewis Richard “Dickie” DiLeonardo, 72, of Highland, Texas, passed away on March 27, 2019.
A memorial service and visitation will be held from 6-8:00pm EST on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City Chapel. The service will be officiated by Rev. Ricky Ward.
Lewis DiLeonardo, known by his friends as “Dickie” was born in Savannah, GA the son of the late Lewis DiLeonardo and Dorothy Holloway DiLeonardo. Soon thereafter, they moved to Phenix City, AL where he spent most of his younger life, attended school, married and settled his family. His main occupation was electronics repair but was always a business entrepreneur. Around 2002 he relocated to Texas where he continued his career. Dickie had several hobbies including driving race cars and golf.
In additions to his parents, Dickie was preceded in death by a son Duane DiLeonardo. Left to cherish his memory are three daughters Margaret DiLeonardo, Toni DiLeonardo, and Dorothy DiLeonardo; one son Richard DiLeonardo; three sisters Carol Skeen, Tina DiLeonardo and Rosie Singer and husband Jay; three brothers Jack DiLeonardo, Mike DiLeonardo and Steve DiLeonardo; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. There are also a host of extended family and many friends.
