Lillian Bunn Mann, 77, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 12:00 noon EST / 11:00 am CST, at Summerville United Methodist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Karen Seifert and Rev. Brady Baird officiating. Interment will follow on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 12:00 noon EST / 11:00 AM CST at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery in Montgomery, AL. The family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Mann was born June 5, 1947, in Tallassee, AL to the late Floyd Bunn and Emily Nell Baker Bunn. She was a graduate of Eufaula High School (1965), Huntingdon College (1969), and Troy University - Phenix City (1987). She served as a high school teacher and was retired from the Phenix City schools (Central High School). Lillian was an active member of Summerville United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was active in the United Methodist Women. Lillian enjoyed watching her children and grandson participate in many activities and sports throughout the years. Lillian was an avid fan of all University of Alabama sports and the Atlanta Braves.
Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Daniel Ernest Mann. She is survived by her children, Brian Daniel Mann and wife Chessie, Benjamin Matthew Mann, and Bonnie Michelle Mann; a grandson, Parker Ethan Mann; a bonus granddaughter, Sarah Ruth Peavy; a sister-in-law, Emily Cloutier and husband Charles; a brother-in-law, Steven Mann; several nieces; numerous friends, and her grand dog, Sophie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Summerville United Methodist Church, 1201 32nd St., Phenix City, AL 36867.
