Mrs. Austin was born June 17, 1953, in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Paul Bottoms and Caroline Eugenia Waller Bottoms. She loved selling at the Lee County Flea Market and was there every weekend with her selling buddy, Daphne Clark. Family was top priority to her, and she let everyone know that too. We will miss her many sayings, the most memorable one was, “Where you are going and where you been”. We miss her already, but little things like her sayings will always bring a smile to our faces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Caroline Bottoms, and her husband, Dexter Earl Austin.
Survivors include her two sons, Todd Austin (Audra) and Kevin Austin (Megan); one daughter, Mandy Austin; three siblings, Danny Lindsey (Jayne), Glen Bottoms and Glenda Bottoms Foster; six grandchildren, (her favorite), Staci Austin, Caleb Bishop, Blake Austin, Logan Austin, Jessica Hulsey and Anthony Hulsey; five precious great-grandchildren, Bailie Hulsey, Callieann Greenhaw, Eli Greenhaw, Waylon Hulsey, and the apple of her eye, Bentley Austin; best friend, Daphne Clark; several nieces, nephews and friends.
