Linda "Diann" Bailey

Linda “Diann” Bailey, 68, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at her residence.  A graveside service will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 beginning at 2 pm with Rev. Sherry Wade officiating.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home from 11 am until 1 pm.

Diann was born on August 9, 1951 in Phenix City, AL to the late Helen Allen. She dedicated her life to caring for the needs of others. Diann attended Golden Acres Assembly of God and worked for many years as a Caretaker. She enjoyed going to yard sales and browsing through “shopping books”. Diann deeply loved every member of her family and treasured all of the times they spent together. This wonderful woman will be greatly missed but has left a fingerprint on the hearts of all who knew her.

Other than her mother, Diann is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Junior Bailey; grandsons, Bradley Drew Grimsley and Lance Grimsley.

Survivors include her sons: James Grimsley (Joy), Bobby Bailey, Michael Bailey (Katrina); sister, Louise Estes; grandchildren: Magen Grimsley, Ronald Bailey, Zackery Bailey, Cody Bailey (Savannah), Aerial Johns, Elijah Vernon; five great-grandchildren: Oliver Bailey, Malcolm Bailey, Skylar Grimsley, Presley Bailey, Killian Bailey; nephew, Jeri Bozeman (Kim); great-nephew, Zachery Bozeman; special friends, Pat and Lowell Littrell and Melinda (Janelle) Miller; family friend, Rod.
