Linda Harrison Thomason, 64, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2019 in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am EST on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Skip Speed officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City.
Linda was born February 9, 1955 in Phenix City, AL, daughter of the late Jesse Thomas Harrison and Lola Mae Fawcett Harrison. She had worked in the Textile Industry most of her life with main relationship with Swift Spinning. She loved watching Gospel programs on TV and listening to Gospel music. She enjoyed reading, yard activities, spending time with her husband, animals, and her beloved pet dog Gracie. She was a Methodist by faith, and a lady of great character. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Stevenson, and Patricia Gilmore, and three infant siblings.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Glen Tanner Thomason of Columbus, GA, two sisters, Jessie Mae Hutto of Phenix City, AL, and Brenda Trawick of Smiths Station, AL, two brothers, Wayne Harrison and wife Brenda, and Kenny Harrison and wife Penny, both of Smiths Station, AL, brother and sister-in-law, Richard C. and Linda W. Thomason of Columbus, GA, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet dog Gracie.
