Liselotte K. Layfield

Liselotte K. Layfield, 86, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home in Columbus while surrounded by family.  Viewing will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA.  A service will be held at Chapel of the Pines at Parkhill Cemetery with the Reverend John Hess officiating on Thursday, November 17, 2016 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST. 

Mrs. Layfield was born September 20, 1930 in Friedlos, Germany and is preceded in death by her husband of more than fifty years, Robert E. L. Layfield (USA Ret).  Mrs. Layfield was a long time member of the New Apostolic Church in Columbus, GA and a resident of Columbus since 1959.

Mrs. Layfield is survived by three sons:  Willi Layfield of Atlanta, Richard Layfield and wife, Karen, of Orlando, FL, and Ed Layfield and wife, Susie, of Columbus; one sister, Erica Bender (Husband, Kurt) in Friedlos, Germany; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and others.
