Liv Marie Meadows

Liv Marie Meadows went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. She was 94 years old and a resident of Parkwood Health Care, Phenix City, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City with Rev. Jimmy Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Meadows was born June 21, 1924 in Norway daughter of the late Herald Olsen and Anna Hansen Olsen. She arrived in the USA in 1954 and became a U. S. Citizen at that time. Mrs. Meadows was the past President of the Phenix City Shriners Eastern Star, and an active member of First Evangelistic Church for almost 50 years. She loved to crochet, knit and collect baby dolls.

Other than her parents, Liv was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore (Tony) Meadows, a son, Roland Olsen,  grandson, Chad Dixon and a daughter-in-law, Myra Hill.

She is survived by her son Ole A. Hill, Sr. (Nita), Shady Shores, TX, three daughters, Tammy Moore (Bob), Phenix City, AL, Erika Bies and Ilse Fornefeld of Germany; step-daughter, Connie Adamson (Ernie), Murphy NC; and daughter-in-law, Christa Olsen, Germany; nine grandchildren, Buffy, Ole, Jr. (Marc), Thorsten, Jens, Torsten, Sven-Ole, Anja, Kirsten and Christian; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Health Care and Kindred Hospice for their love, care and support.
