Lloyd Holley

Lloyd Holley, 90, of Columbus, GA passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at Hilton Terrace Baptist Church, 2236 Warm Springs Rd, Columbus, GA on Saturday, February 20, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am with Rev. John Burnett officiating.  The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, February 19, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

In keeping with efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be observed and facemasks will be required.

Lloyd was born on March 22, 1930 in Elba, AL to the late Clem Holley and Minnie Lee Holley. He was a Building Contractor and the owner of Lloyd Holley Superior Home Builder. Lloyd was very passionate about his business and loved working. He also enjoyed motorhoming and traveling. During his lifetime Lloyd visited 27 different countries including the Holy Land where he had the awesome privilege of being baptized in the Jordan River.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Dianne Holley; two daughters, Glenda Thompson (Raymon) of Waterford, MI and Kay Howell (Craig) of Valdosta, GA; one son, Eric Lloyd Holley of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren, Jeremy Risch, Ashley Howell, Jason Howell, Brooke Bowers and Blaine Holley. Other than his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel Frances Holley, three sisters and one brother.
