Lorene H. Faulkner

Lorene Hope Faulkner, 94, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Phenix City Health Care in Phenix City, AL.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held 4:00 pm EST Friday, March 3, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Mike Turner officiating.  A private in interment will be held at the family home place.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Faulkner was born January 27, 1923 in Sylacauga, AL to the late Ross Hope and Olie Mae Whitney Hope.  She was self-employed and was Baptist by faith.  She enjoyed her flowers and business patrons, loved her family and enjoyed spending quality time with everyone.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three daughters, Nesby Faye Townsend, Jennifer Kay Edwards, and infant daughter, Linda Gayle; one brother, Herbert Hope, one sister, Nickie Hope

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Tindall of Smiths Station, AL, and Linda “Sheri” Swanson and husband Billy of Fort Valley, GA, one brother, Densel Hope, (6) grandchildren, (21) great grandchildren, and (3) great great grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
