Loretta M. Wolfenbarger

Loretta M. Wolfenbarger, 75, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 31, 2018 surrounded by her family.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, November 5, 2018 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 on Sunday at the Vance Brooks in Columbus.

Loretta was born in Macon, GA on October 5, 1943 to the late Willard and Mary Lois Osbourne. She was a devoted Christian and loyal wife. Playing the piano or organ while singing was part of how she helped her husband Floyde as they shared the gospel of Jesus for many years. She raised her children in a loving home and was always sharing her motherly instinct toward children and others. Loretta was a fighter, protecting those she loved and as a survivor of breast cancer. Her husband Floyd died in the early part of October. They

She is survived by her daughter, Dora Moreno; son, Joseph Wolfenbarger (Kristin); grandchildren, Chloe, Angelica (Gabriel), Angel, Micah, Manny; one great grandchild, Luna; some extended family and many friends. A special thank you to Annette Jones for watching over and caring for mom.
