Lorie DuBois

Lorie DuBois, 57, of Phenix City, Al passed away on November 21, 2024. A visitation will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, Al, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 12:00 pm, followed by a Graveside Service at Lakeview Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Hank Reeves.

Lorie DuBois was born at the Naval Air Station in Patuxent, Maryland on December 19, 1966, to Billy Cox and the late Barbara Fay Cox. Lorie worked for Gil’s Auto Sales in Phenix City for nearly 30 years until retiring. She then began working for Bridgeway Credit Union until her passing. She loved arts and crafts of all sorts, sewing, and cleaning. Lorie enjoyed occasional trips to the casino, as well as singing and dancing. Most of all, Lorie loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren were her world. Lorie will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. 

Lorie DuBois is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Fay Cox; and sister, Terri Jenkins. She is survived by her daughters, Haley Tarver (Philip) of Smiths Station, Al, and Brandie “Binky” Brady (Robert) of Smiths Station, Al; sons, Brandon Harp of Smiths Station, Al and Hunter Kirkland; brother, Billy Cox Jr. of Phenix City, Al; and grandchildren, Brock, Kaylie, Lillie, Kinslie, Brantley MaKenzie, Raelyn, Gracie, and Levi.
