Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am CDT / 12:00 pm EDT on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville, AL with Edward Beasley officiating.
Mr. Hurst was born September 17, 1951, in Barbour County, AL, son of Delma Baker Hurst and the late Louie Martin Hurst. He served as a supervisor for the Carpet Mill Store in Columbus, GA.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sons, Jason Hurst and Henry Hurst.
He is survived by his mother, Delma Hurst of Phenix City, Al; daughter, Jamie Mitchem of Maiden, NC; son, Andy Hurst of Conover, NC; sister, Ann McVay of Phenix City, AL; four brothers, Jim Hurst (Sharon), Rick Hurst, Bill Hurst, and Robert Hurst (Selena) all of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Brooke Tresar, Autumn Mitchem, and Landon Hurst; three great-grandchildren, McKinlee, Damon, and Grayson; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
